desires
According to ancient philosophers, Socrates’ and Mill’s, people desire one or two things. One, people desire to have an objectively good (healthy) state of body and mind (character). Or, two, people desire happiness, pleasure and freedom. Among these philosophical statements/beliefs, one may easily agree with either one. However, I do not. I believe that people desire most to be unconditionally loved and accepted.
